Use this guide when introducing a repository to the shared S-CORE infrastructure model.

Goal

Make a repository ready for consistent collaboration, automation, and governance.

Steps

  1. Confirm repository purpose and naming conventions.
  2. Apply baseline repository files and contribution guidance.
  3. Align repository metadata, labels, and topics.
  4. Connect the repository to shared integration workflows where applicable.
  5. Document repository-specific exceptions from default standards.

Minimum Checks

  • repository has clear ownership and contribution entry points
  • baseline standards are visible and documented
  • policy expectations are clear for pull requests and merges
  • onboarding and integration behavior are understandable for new contributors
